Happiness

Have you ever noticed how when things start going wrong, it seems like nothing can go right? And, when things are great, they just seem to get better and better? I have noticed this in my life. I have come to believe that my mind and heart are like a radio station, constantly broadcasting my current mood and desires. I believe that what I am broadcasting acts like a tractor beam, bringing more of it into my life. If I'm broadcasting happy, I get more happy. If I'm broadcasting despair, I get more despair.

Is a submissive “responsible” for their Discipline and Punishment?

There are few issues Dominants feel more strongly about than those regarding the discipline and punishment of their submissives. Although people may use those terms interchangeably, they mean quite different things. Discipline is the process of teaching a submissive the difference between acceptable and unacceptable behavior. Good discipline should be a positive force focusing on what a submissive is allowed to do. The goal of discipline is to help a submissive change impulsive, random behavior into controlled, purposeful behavior, and discipline should be reinforced with teaching, firmness, responsibility, and reminders.

Wisdom

Most people close to me know that I love quotes; I am always goggling quotes about life, happiness, love, etc. Today while piddling, I found this excerpt by Joseph Bailey, it is from his book, The Speed Trap, “You don’t have to be a genius to have wisdom; it is available to all of us. When your mind spins out of control, let go and trust that the wisdom within you will guide you back to happiness. Wisdom is true genius.” I think one of the benefits of getting older is that, presumably, we also get wiser. Humans of all ages react to most things from either of three locations within us – head… heart… and gut/instinct. I believe wisdom might simply be knowing which one to listen to.

~just me~

Respect the woman, desire the slut and cherish the little girl. Then You have the mind, the body and the soul.

Poems: Before You

I have loved You forever.
Before I knew Your name.
You were a part of me.

Poems: Your Control

Your fingers trace my flesh
As you bend me to
Your will
The softness of your smile
Hides the danger of the kill

Journal Prompt #1

Thinking of what to write is the most difficult part

Label: Shake the Sugar Tree

"Shake the Sugar Tree" is the title of a country music song written by Chapin Hartord. It was recorded by American singer Pam Tillis on her 1992 album Homeward Looking Angel, from which it was released in 1992 as the album's lead-off single. "Shake the Sugar Tree" became Tillis' fourth Top Ten country hit, peaking at #3 on Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs).*

In the song, a wife admonishes her husband for taking her and their relationship for granted too often, only responding when she complains ("You're like fruit from a fickle vine, 'you turn sweet in the nick of time / Love, you only come alive when you're losin' me") and concluding that sometimes she has to "shake the sugar tree" in order to "feel his love come falling all around [her]".

do You know...

Do You know what it is that I desire?
Do You know what it is that I need?
Do You understand the need I have to be pushed to my limits?

Daily Rituals: What puts you at your Master’s feet?

Today, in our hectic, extremely busy lives, it can be very easy to lose our direction to the place that we find the most happiness – our Master’s feet. When I think of being at my Master’s feet, I think of the things that feed me, ground me, and give me courage in areas needed to successfully serve Him on a daily basis. I also think of it being the part of us that replenishes newness to the connection between Him and me. What puts you at your Master’s feet? For me,

Quotes and Saying: submission

Submission is not about being used, submission is about being of use. Submission is not about what is done to you, submission is about what you do for others" "Strong men simply need women. This will never be understood by weak men. A strong man needs a woman at his feet, who is truly his. Anything else is less than his fulfillment. -- Unknown

The Journey Begins....

It is funny how life works sometimes, isn’t it? How things fall apart so they can be put back together stronger and even better.  That is my journey in this life. That roller coaster ride of ups and downs has made me a stronger person and who I am today.  I am happy.  I am reflective.  I am wiser.  I am peaceful.  I am humble.  I believe in starting over and being allowed as many chances as we need until we get it right. I have be
